Shortly after graduated from Cony HS in 1943, Ron fought in World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in Europe and the Philippines. After the war, he received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in organic chemistry from the University of New Hampshire, and earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was a long-time chemistry professor at Merrimack College (N. Andover, MA). He died living with family in Utah. Ron's identical twin brother Roscoe passed away in 2004. They were both active in sports when they attended Cony HS. |
