About | Joan Marie Pelletier, age 28, formerly of Raymond ME, died unexpectedly on May 8, 2007 in Miami, FL from a blood clot in her head. She was born on November 19, 1978 in Portland Maine. She is survived by her fiancee Jim O'Connell; Her father and step-mother, Fred and Kim Pelletier; Her mother and Step-father, Shirley and Jack Williams; Her sisters Laurie Keen, Sonya Pelletier, and Chelsea Pelletier; and her step-sister and brother April and Josh Williams. Joan graduated from Gray New Gloucester High School in 1997. She received her BS in Business Management and Minor in Dance from East Carolina University in 2001. After college Joan worked in the marketing department for Winn-Dixie before advancing to On Ideas, Inc. and First-Team Advertising Agencies. Joan's life closed at the moment when it seemed to have reached it's springtime. She was engaged in February of 2006 to the love of her life. She just completed designing and sewing her wedding dress, of which she is very proud. Joan's life was full of laughter and love. Her favorite hobbies were dancing and designing and sewing clothing. She loved humor, laughter and being silly. She was gracious, positive and always counted her blessings. Joan demonstrated love beautifully (see 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7). Her gentle, kind, sweet spirit will be treasured always. Many of Joan's relatives and friends attended a visitation on May 14, 2007 at Halls Funeral Home in Casco, ME. The funeral service was at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Windham with a burial service at Mountain Cemetary in Raymond. Condolence cards for the family can be sent to her father, Fred Pelletier, at 79R Mountain Road, Raymond ME 04071. |
