LARGO, Fla., and BANGOR: Wayne died in Largo, FL. Following graduation he joined the U.S. Navy for four years. Returning to Maine. he became a police officer and went on to own LaBree Associates. He was a ship's captain in later life. Wayne was a founding member and former president of The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. He is survived by his wife, Veronica (Snowdon); children, Michele (LaBree) Daniels and Matthew; five grandchildren; siblings,Patricia Sullivan and Donald LaBree. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Otis N. and Beatrice N. (Rice) LaBree; brother, David, in 1953; and his former wife, Donna (Hoar) LaBree. |
