John was the best big brother and a wonderful individual. I was blessed to have him for my brother. I still miss him terribly. He was the manager of Tate Parts Dept. for many years since leaving high school. Mrs. Evans, who taught English at the time, failed John in 12th grade due to not turning in a paper on time. As a result, she prevented him from graduating with his class because of one paper. The fact was that he had to work to help out my parents. He worked for the A&P Grocery store on Crain Highway at that time. He also suffered from a hurtful allergy to produce in the section where the store had him working. He was a wonderful person and loved by all. |
