Barbara Lynn Harrington, 78, of Glen Burnie, MD went home to be with her Father in Heaven on Tuesday, September 14th after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Barbara was born on September 23rd, 1942 to Kenneth and Ruth Feifarek in Madison, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Masters in Childhood Education and taught elementary education for 35 years in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She was an active member and volunteer at Church of the Crucifixion in Glen Burnie for over 30 years. Barbara enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, animals, playing Bridge with her girlfriends and, most of all, being a grandmother. Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roderick Harrington, her father, Kenneth Feifarek, and her brother, Brian Feifarek. She is survived by her children: Patrick Gilligan, Ryan Gilligan, Stacey Price and Rachael Lescarbeau, her stepsons: Stephen, Mitchell, David and Paul Harrington, 8 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 4 great grandsons, 4 great granddaughters, her siblings: Christopher Feifarek, Jonathan Feifarek, Patricia Reyes, Diane Musachio, mother, Ruth Feifarek and many other extended family members. |
