| About | Born May 28, 1958 in Easton, Maryland he was the son of Gladys Spence Foster of Centreville and the late William Darwyn Foster. Billy was a 1976 graduate of Queen Anne’s County High School where he was active in sports. He played many years in the Queen Anne’s County Men’s modified softball league. He was an accomplished outdoorsman. Billy managed a hunting property outside of Centreville. He was self-employed as a waterman, fishing and crabbing on the Chester River. In the winter he worked as a waterfowl outfitter. He was an exceptional waterfowl guide and was known as much for his outward personality and storytelling as he was for his hunting skills. He took great pride in helping and doing things for others. He made new friends everywhere he went. He would always say, “It doesn’t cost anything to be nice to people.” He had a positive attitude about life and people. He will be best remembered by those he met by his answer when asked, "How's it going?", was always, “Every day’s a good one.” |
