| About | Michael Flanagan - Obituary M ichael “Mike” Terrence Flanagan, 50, a lifelong resident of Davidsonville, MD died of cancer on October 15, 2010 at home with his family by his side. Born December 31, 1959 in Washington, D.C., he served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. America as a jet engine mechanic and received the Navy expeditionary medal. Mike loved music, family and friends. Michael is survived by his mother, Gladys Flanagan of Davidsonville, MD; 1 sister, Deborah Eckard of Rising Sun, MD; 1 nephew, Christopher Lambert of North East, MD; 2 nieces, Nicole and Kelly Eckard of Rising Sun, MD. Mike was predeceased by his father, Daniel Flanagan. Friends are invited to Mike’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday from 1 to 3pm and 6 to 8pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 1pm. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. |
