| About | Michael Anthony Pinkney was born on October 15, 1958 to Agnes L. Pinkney and the late Doswell J. Pinkney. While at home on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 Michael transitioned to his new home in Glory! Michael was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord as his personal savior at his home church Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Lothian, MD. Michael was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School system and attended Southern High School in Harwood, Maryland and graduated in June 1976. He then joined the military and served in the United States Army. On May 13, 1995, Michael was joined in marriage to Mary Christine Pinkney. Michael was a God-fearing man, a devoted husband and beloved friend. He was a father to their three sons, Donny Short, Michael Isaiah and Nathan Jeremiah Pinkney. Visitation is Thursday, April 30, 2015, 10 am. until the time of Service at 11 am. at the Ark of Safety Christian Church, 9402 Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. Interment will be on Thursday, May 7,2015 at 1:45pm at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623. Arrangements: Adams Funeral Home.
