| About | Martha Ann Stallings "Sam" Johnson, 46, a lifelong resident of Davidsonville and Edgewater, died of renal failure May 19 at Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center after a two-year illness. Born June 5, 1958, in Annapolis and the daughter of Laura A. Woods of Davidsonville and the late Andrew King Stallings Sr., Mrs. Johnson graduated from Southern High School in Harwood in 1976. She worked in the county as a waitress for 25 years and enjoyed cooking. Surviving are her husband, Robert Johnson of Shady Side, whom she married in 1996; one daughter, Lauren Marie Johnson of Shady Side; one brother, Andy Stallings Jr. of Ronee, Tenn.; two sisters, Sandra Aisquith of Edgewater and Linda Kautz of Crofton; and her stepfather, H. Edward Woods of Davidsonville. Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater.
