| About | David Cameron Vance Sr., 33, of Riva, Maryland, passed away tragically in a construction accident in Annapolis. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, David moved to Anne Arundel County in 1964. He was a 1976 graduate of Southern High School and worked as a roofer for Alton’s Roofing Company in Annapolis. David is survived by his two sons, David C. Vance Jr. and Sean Michael Vance of Fort George G. Meade; his parents, Zebulon D. Vance Sr. and Betty Dixon Vance of Riva; two brothers, Zebulon D. Vance Jr. of Arnold and Wesley D. Vance of Pasadena; and his sister, Lesley K. Vance of Riva. Arrangements were handled by Taylor Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
