Events | Chris Allen Main, 45, of Mount Airy, died Sunday, March 7, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Pamela E. Main. Born Dec. 22, 1953, at Kemptown, he was a son of Clyde D. Main of Frederick and the late Frances Julia Summers Main. He worked in the home improvement business. He was a member of Bush Creek Church of the Brethren in Monrovia. Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Nicholas and Brittany Main, both at home; four sisters, Juanita L. Thompson and husband Paul of Bowie, Julie L. Boggs and husband Gary of Hagerstown, and Kay M. Main, and Romona I. Trout and husband Kerry, all of Frederick; two brothers, David W. Main of Walkersville, and Mark L. Main and wife Jennifer of Middletown; maternal grandmother, Annie Summers of Ijamsville; stepmother, Janet R. Main of Frederick; one stepsister, Pam Barnes of Frederick; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be remembered by numerous special friends. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Bush Creek Church of the Brethren, 4821 Green Valley Road, Monrovia. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the building fund of Bush Creek Church of the Brethren. |
