| About | Deloris Roxanne Stitely Myers, age 65, of Frederick passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Monday, September 18, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Born January 23, 1958 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Geraldine Kaufman Stitely and the late Kenneth W. Stitely. She was the wife of Timothy Myers, her husband of 47 years. She is also survived by her children, Amanda Myers Norman and husband Jonathan of Sykesville and Brent Myers and wife Lauren of Walkersville; grandchildren, Benjamin and Andrew Norman, Emmie Douglas, and Lana, Brody, Sadie and Jennings Myers; brother, Kenneth R. Stitely and wife Susan; and nieces, Megan Brenneman and Jillian Henderson. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Diane Stitely. Roxanne was a graduate of Walkersville High School and following graduation was employed in the medical field. She worked with Frederick Primary Care Associates for more than 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, and loved quilting. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main Street, Woodsboro. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 27 at 10 a.m. Rev. Jerry Cline, pastor of Liberty Central United Methodist Church, Libertytown, will officiate. Interment will follow in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.
