| About | Dennis B. Funk, 62, of Beallsville, MD, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He was the son of the late Paul and Ruby Funk. Denny was born on May 20, 1953, in West Virginia. He is survived by his former wife, Reneta Funk of Poolesville, MD; daughter, Ashley B. Funk and boyfriend Eric Backus of Poolesville; two brothers, Jerry Funk (Mary) of Woodsboro, MD, Robert Funk (Patty) of Charles Town, WV; two sisters, Karen Plemmons (Larry) of Frederick, MD, Janet Miller (Edward) of Middletown, MD; two uncles, Keith Wiles of OH, Don Wiles of VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday, April 10, from 2-3 PM, at the Poolesville Baptist Church, 17550 West Willard Rd, Poolesville, where services will be held at 3 PM. Following the service, friends are welcome for a reception at the church hall. In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations to Hilton Funeral Home for funeral expenses. |
