| About | Dennis Franklin Snyder, 69, of Largo, FL, and formerly of Woodsboro, passed away at home on October 26, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Frederick to Roy Franklin Snyder and Juanita Rae Mick Snyder. Dennis was a 1964 graduate of Walkersville High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country proudly in Vietnam. In 1980 he started S&D Painting in Frederick. An avid hunter and fisherman, he previously held the job title of Big Game Tour Guide in the states of Alaska, Colorado and Wyoming. He was also a huge fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dennis was a member of the American Legion Post 273, the American Veterans of Florida and the Elks in Maryland. He is survived by loving wife, Linda; and stepson, Shane. His wishes were to be cremated and his final resting place will be at his mountain property in Maryland. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society. |
