| About | Donald Timothy Crum, 61 of Ijamsville, MD died suddenly Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home. Born November 8, 1953, in Frederick County, he was the son of the late Henry R. and Dorothy Bowman Crum. He was the husband of Janice Crum, his wife of 21 years. He graduated from Walkersville High School Class of 1971. He worked as a mechanic then became a Snap-on tools dealer, manager, and then equipment representative. He helped to maintain the family farm Maple Spring, near Woodsboro. He enjoyed working outdoors, home renovation and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are step-daughters, Jessica Tessier, and Jennifer Geesaman and 2 granddaughters. A sister, Janice F. Kuzas and husband Charles of Ocean View DE, a brother, Rock H. Crum and wife Deborah of Chestertown, MD. He will be remembered by lifelong friend, Dwight Reever. He was predeceased by son, Zachery and 1st wife, Christine Crum. A funeral service will be held, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St. Woodsboro, MD, with Rev. Robert Ruggieri, pastor of Ijamsville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery, Woodsboro. The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 16, at the funeral home.
