About | Mrs. Estella Yingling, 95, of Taneytown, died Thursday, Dec. 2, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, Pa. She was the wife of the late Wallace Yingling. Born Feb. 23, 1904, in Taneytown, she was a daughter of the late Harry Essig and Maude Estella Hilterbrick Essig. Mrs. Yingling taught music for many years in Taneytown. She was a former choir director for St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church in Westminster and Taneytown Presbyterian Church. Prior to her retirement, she had also taught music in Walkersville. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Taneytown. Mrs. Yingling leaves no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Skiles Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown. Mrs. Yingling's pastor, the Rev. Keith DeBord, will officiate. Interment will be in Grace United Church of Christ Cemetery (Taneytown Reformed Cemetery).
