| About | Frances Virginia Stover Bostian, age 79, of Taneytown, died Friday, June 14, 2023, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born February 14, 1944, in New Midway, she was the daughter of the late Roland Stover and Norma Frounfelter Stover. She was the wife of the late Kenneth E. Bostian, who died in 2008. She was a graduate of Walkersville High School and a member of Monocacy Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed socializing, church festivals, bingo, carnivals, traveling and collecting anything with a cardinal or snow baby. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. Surviving are daughter Tammy Hartman and husband Curtis of Fairfield, PA, grandchildren Joshua Hartman and Joelle Hartman, great-grandchildren Brailynn and Emersynn, sister Wanda Stover of Taneytown, brother Harold Stover Sr., and wife Connie of Wolfsville, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are special friends Herb and Linda Nicolls, Paul and Linda Grossnickle and their families, as well as many other special friends. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20 at the funeral home, with Pastor Tracy Wiser officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
