| About | Gary Wayne Weddle, 65, of Duncannon, PA, passed away on Nov. 26, 2014. He was the husband of Sharon Weddle, his wife of 45 years. Born Nov. 6, 1949 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Paul Pershing Weddle and Ellen Annabelle Weddle. He graduated from Walkersville High School and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a master carpenter by trade, and a longtime member of Oak Hill Church in Legore, MD. He loved to bake, garden, and raise chickens. In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Weddle is survived by two daughters, Tonja Sue Weddle & husband Curt Zeigler, and Lisa Lee Petry; five sisters, Phyllis Hooper, Connie Staub & husband John, Janice Foreman, Judy Study & husband David, and Shawn Huff & husband Bill; four grandchildren, Chaas Weddle Thompson, Victoria Elizabeth Petry, Jason Zeigler, and Colin Zeigler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives. A funeral service will take place at 12 Noon on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N in Frederick.
