About Geraldine S. Garlock, 92, of Frederick died on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Spring Arbor Senior Care. She was the wife of the late Scheller L. Garlock, who died in 2008.

Born on September 28, 1930 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Mary Stull.

She attended Frederick High School and Walkersville High where she was a graduate. She also attended Hagerstown Cosmetology School. She worked for many years in administration for Wickes Lumber of Frederick supporting retail sales and home improvement departments.

Geraldine was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary to the Korean War Veterans Association and actively took part in the meetings and activities of the group.

A long time resident of Crestwood Village, she was an avid gardener who loved her flowers and ferns. She greatly enjoyed the fellowship of neighbors and friends especially on their many bus excursions around the area.

Geraldine is survived by her daughter Susan Hildebrand Lantz and husband Richard of Greer, SC and a granddaughter Sarah E. Gray and husband Steve and great-granddaughter Lucy Addison Gray of Greer, SC. And three brothers Robert L. Stull and Charlotte Nusbaum of Frederick, William M. Stull of Hagerstown and Edward C. Stull and wife Merilyn of Daytona Beach, FL.

Geraldine was a longtime member of the Frederick Church of Christ. A memorial celebration will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 11, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick MD with Tony Peterson, minister at Frederick Church of Christ officiating. Inurnment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
