About James (Jimmie) Cramer,68 of Keedysville Maryland, passed suddenly from this life on Tuesday June 22,2021 at his home in Keedysville. Born February 22,1953 in Walkersville Md. He was the son of the late Harry M. and Janet Lee (Van Fossen) Cramer. He graduated from Walkersville High School and was of Protestant Faith. James was an advid craftsman and gardener transforming his farmhouse and gardens into a showplace known as "Seven Gates Farm". jimmies career led him to being an author and editor writing books,such as " Seasons of Seven Gates Farm", "Tis the Season Christmas Eve", " Window Boxes James Cramer Dean Johnson " and " The Gardens and Accoutrements of James Cramer". James was Editor at Large for Country Living Gardener,Editor and Contributing Editor for Simple Life Magazine, and Editor at Large for Country Living Magazine throughout the years. He was employed at Beaver Creek Antique Mall Hagrrstown Md. For the past 15 years , operating 3 booths of his own. James was preceded in death by his loving partner Dean Johnson and a brother Douglas Cramer. James is survived by cousins, very special friends, neighborhood families and many work associate friends he made through the years of his trades.A celebration of James life will take place at his residence at a later date to be announced. Interment will be private at Glade Cemetery Walkersville Md. Memorial donations may be made to the Washington County Humane Society, 13011 Maugans Ave. Hagerstown Md. 21740.
