About | Mrs. Jeannette Marie Nolan-Matthews, 46, of Nuevo, Calif., died Saturday, June 26, of lung cancer at her home. She was the wife of Ernest Matthews. Born Jan. 21, 1953, in Washington, she was a daughter of Charles and Rebecca Nolan of Fairfield, Pa. Mrs. Nolan-Matthews graduated from Walkersville High School in 1971. She had worked nine years as an eligibility tech 2 for Department of Social Services of Riverside County, Hemet, Calif. She enjoyed going to the casino and collected valuable porcelain owls. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are one son, John W. Droneburg II of Frederick; one daughter, Penny Marie Smith of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; two brothers, John Nolan of Fairfield, and Charles Nolan Jr. of Florida; and two sisters, Bonnie Phagan of Boise, Idaho, and Linda Lee Nolan. Closed casket memorial services will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, at Miller Jones Mortuary, 1835 Perris Blvd., Perris, Calif. The Rev. Adrine Ernest Fanning will officiate.
