About | Jeffrey Charles Hale of Kissimmee, Florida, formerly of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away at home on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 53. He was born on June 25, 1969, in Silver Spring, MD, to the late Edward Curtis and Martha Gast Hale. He was the husband of Lynda Hale. Jeff attended Walkersville High School and later graduated from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. Jeff started his career as an underground utility locator and then held jobs at UPS and YRC Freight. When he moved to Florida, he was among the first employees hired at the HCA Healthcare warehouse. He was easily recognizable at work, always wearing one of his favorite tie-dye shirts. Jeff loved spending time watching NASCAR at home and the racetrack; he realized his dream of attending the Daytona 500 earlier this year. Jeff loved spending time at the beach and vacationing on the Outer Banks. Jeff had a deep love of music. He also enjoyed his dogs, Lucky and Horton. Surviving Jeff, in addition to his wife, Lynda, are his daughters, Elizabeth Rebecca Hale and husband, Sam Edwards, of Katy, Texas, and Maryellen Rebecca Hale of Lubbock, Texas; step-sons, Benjamin Hicks of Washington, D.C. and Andrew Hicks of Tampa, Florida; siblings, James Robert Hale and wife, Tabitha, of Morrisville, North Carolina, Joseph Andrew Hale and wife, Beth, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and MaryAnn Mood and husband, Steve, of Frederick, Maryland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 9411 Baltimore Rd, Frederick, MD 21701. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM before the service.
