| About | Jeffrey Paul Hyde, 63, of Woodsboro, Maryland, died suddenly on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Frederick Health Hospital. Born on April 11, 1961, in Grand Haven, MI, he was the son of the late Hugh Hyde and Ruth Ann (Baldus) Hyde. Jeff served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. He was currently working as a custodian at Walkersville High School, where he made many lasting friendships and was well respected by staff and students alike. Jeff enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to cook and limoncello was his specialty. He is survived by his daughter, Krista Day and husband Christian; his son, Ryan Hyde; grandson, Wyatt Day; siblings, Craig Hyde, Sheila Hyde, and Bryan Hyde; and several nieces and nephews. Jeff was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Allison Hyde. A celebration of his life will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Morningstar Family Church, 14698 Albert Staub Road in Thurmont, MD.
