About | Mr. Justin Aaron Keckler 22, of Walkersville, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Born November 28, 1994 in Frederick he was the son of Jason and Crystal Keckler of Walkersville. Justin was a 2012 graduate of Walkersville High School and received a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland in College Park in 2016. He began working for New Day USA in Fulton, MD as a mortgage loan originator upon graduation. Justin was a very outgoing, social and happy person who lived life with a passion. He approached his friendships, hobbies and his job with the same passionate enthusiasm. In high school Justin was a member of the tennis team and played recreational basketball. He loved to play the guitar and sing. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his many friends and making people laugh. He had an infectious smile that could light up a room and he would have done anything to help others in need. Justin was a longtime member of Mountain View Community Church and played guitar in the youth band. In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his paternal grandparents Steven and Jane Keckler, maternal grandparents Diana Funk and Edward Funk, his Aunt Kimberly Keckler, Uncle Steven Keckler and Aunt Angel Roberts and her husband Damaine, along with numerous cousins and extended family. He is also remembered by his loving friends Dan Bowman, Michael Kelley and Cody Mudd. The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, June 2 from 6:00-9:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 3 at 2:00 PM where the family will be present to receive friends one hour prior to the service.
