| About | Mr. LaVerne "Tuck" Kline, 70, of Thurmont, MD., passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. He was the husband of Thelma Wisner Kline, his wife of 49 years. Born March 22, 1942, he was the son of Silas E. and Annabelle Lambert Kline. Mr. Kline served his country in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #321. He was owner/operator of Harney Motors in Littlestown, PA for over 25+ years. He enjoyed sports, hunting and target shooting. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother Robert Lee Kline and wife Patsy of Littlestown, PA and a sister Joan Eyler and husband Terry of Woodsboro, MD, his nieces and nephews Sherry Miller, April Kline Lee Kline, Terry Eyler, Jr. and Michael Eyler. He will also be remembered by his special friends Alex Alexandrow of WA, Ron Kelly of IN, and Michael and Robin Frame of VA. A Memorial Service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont, MD on Sunday, July 22, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Thomas Darner officiating. Interment will be private In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory, to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004 |
