| About | Liana J. Jones, age 69, of Ocean City, MD died Friday, February 9, 2024 at home. She was born in Frederick, MD and was the daughter of the late John Bowers and Judith Ramona (Windsor) Bowers. Liana was a retired children's pastor from the Maranatha Church of God and was a member of American Legion Post #166. She is survived by her husband Thomas Harvey Jones; four children, Amie Smith of Selbyville, Derek Smith wife Michelle of Walkersville, MD, Tom Jones and wife Lori of Woodsboro, MD John Jones and wife Kristal of Rocky Ridge, MD; four brothers, Dean Bowers, Rick Bowers, Bryan Bowers and JD Bowers and twelve grandchildren. Also additional family Janice Smith and Jessica Coker-Lentz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Michael Smith. Celebration of life date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Legion Synepuxent Post # 166 P.O.
