| About | Mrs. Linda Keeney Biddinger, 65, of Woodsboro, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Washington Hospital Center due to complications after bypass surgery. Born April 15, 1943, near Woodsboro, she was the daughter of the late R. Brantly and L. Marie Ray Keeney. Mrs. Biddinger was a 1962 graduate, of Walkersville High School. She was a member of Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church where she formerly taught Sunday school. She was a 42-year employee, at Meadows Van and Storage of Frederick, and a 36-year employee, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was a member, past president and current secretary of the Frederick Chapter of Business and Professional Women(BPW). In 1979 she was presented the BPW Woman of the Year award by then Governor Harry Hughes. She formerly coached girls softball with the Woodsboro Athletic Association and was a troop leader with Brownies and Girl Scouts. She served as an election judge with the Frederick County Board of Elections. Linda loved animals, the ocean, needlework, sewing, antiquing, the Rocky Hill festival and family gatherings. Surviving are a son, Luke D. Biddinger and wife, Sharon, of Carroll Valley, Pa.; two grandsons, Justin G. Albaugh and Dakota L. Hudnall; and a special niece, Kathi Armitage, all of whom she helped raise; a great-grandson, Jerimaya Guthrie Albaugh-Myers; two sisters, Jane Jacobs and husband, Richard, of Emmitsburg, Rose Martin and husband, Stanley, of Boyds; two brothers, Joseph Keeney and wife, Connie, of Hagerstown; Brantley "Pete" Keeney and wife, Betty, of Easton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by former husband, Carl D. Biddinger in 2004; a daughter, April Hudnall in 2005; and a grandson, Joshua T. Albaugh in 2006. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dorothy Lundgren, pastor of the Woodsboro Lutheran Parish, officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro.
