| About | Martha H. Cooley, age 93, passed away October 5th, 2022. Born near Sheppardstown,W.V. She was the daughter of the late Scott David and Irene Martha Harris. She was also a member of the Hyattstown Christian Church and AARP, chapter 636. She was a graduate of Walkersville High School in 1947 and Baltimore City Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1952. She retired from Maryland National Bank in 1991 after 35 years of service. Surviving are one son John F. Cooley, Jr. and wife Maggi, of Biglerville, PA. Grandsons John III, Nicholas and wife Dani, Christopher, Jason and wife Mandi and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, James of Rocky Ridge and Glen of Frederick and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Flora, Iva, Thelma, Wanda and brothers Homer, Harold and Wilson. Martha donated her body to Maryland Anatomy Board in Baltimore, MD. Memorial donations could be made in Martha's name to the Hyattstown Christian Church, 26012 Frederick Rd, Clarksburg, Md. 20871. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
