Paul F. Brunner, Jr., a dedicated Insurance Agent for Nationwide Insurance Company for over 40 years, passed away on December 9, 2023, in Frederick, Maryland. Born on May 9, 1947, in Illinois, Paul lived a life filled with love and devotion to his family and community. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Paul's passion for his work as an insurance agent was evident in the commitment he showed towards his clients. Throughout his four-decade career, he made it his mission to provide the best possible service and support to those in need. His compassionate and caring nature ensured that his clients felt valued and protected. Paul's dedication to his profession earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and customers alike.

Outside of work, Paul had a wide range of hobbies and interests that brought him joy throughout his life. He had a love for bird hunting and was an avid car enthusiast, with a particular fondness for his beloved Corvette. But perhaps one of Paul's greatest joys came from boating with his sons and grandchildren. The laughter shared and memories made during these moments will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

In addition to his passion for leisure activities, Paul actively participated in various community organizations such as the Men's Garden Club, Elks Club, and St. Peter's Catholic Church. He found fulfillment in giving back to others and making a positive impact on his community. Paul's generous spirit touched the lives of many and served as an inspiration to those around him.

Among Paul's proudest accomplishments was the love he shared with his family. Spending time with Patricia, his wife of many years, brought him immeasurable happiness. His sons Keith Brunner and Chad Brunner were a constant source of pride for him. Watching them grow into remarkable men and then seeing them start families of their own was a joy that knew no bounds. Paul adored his grandchildren, Devon and Ry Brunner, and cherished every moment he spent with them.

Paul's upbringing was shaped by the love and guidance of his parents, Paul F. Brunner, Sr. and Helen C. Costello Brunner. They instilled in him the values of integrity, compassion, and hard work that he carried throughout his life. Paul leaves behind his siblings Kathy and Teddy Albaugh, and Mary Jo and Raymond Mathews, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He maintained a strong bond with his extended family, finding comfort in their support during both challenging times and moments of celebration.

In addition to a successful career and a loving family, Paul found joy in volunteering for organizations such as Color on the Creek and Winter Solstice. His dedication to these causes made a significant impact on the Frederick community and exemplified his selflessness.
