About | Ronald "Ronnie" Edward Stup, 70, of Frederick passed away at home on December 30, 2019. Born August 21, 1949, to the late Marion and Phyllis (Ward) Stup of Walkersville, Ronnie was a beloved father, husband, brother and friend. He loved sharing a laugh with friends and spending time with his grandchildren. A 1967 graduate of Walkersville High School, Ronnie grew up working on the family farm with his dad and brothers until he established his own Holstein dairy and farming operation in 1979. He was a member of Maryland Virginia Milk Producers, Frederick County Farm Bureau, and Maryland Farm Bureau until his retirement from farming in 1999. After retiring from farming, he worked in construction for several years before fully retiring in 2016. He was a member of the Rocky Hill Lutheran Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard E. Stup. Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Ocasek and husband Adam, grandchildren Annalise Ocasek and J. Daniel Ocasek, and brother Edgar A. Stup and wife Winnifred and family, and numerous cousins. He is remembered fondly by his former wife Wanda Stup and her family.
