About | Mrs. Shirley Ann (Cramer) Stull, 81, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her home after a two year bout with cancer. She enjoyed 56 years of marriage to Robert L. Stull. Born January 8, 1932 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellis Mercer Cramer. Shirley was a 1950 graduate of Walkersville High School, and 1954 graduate of Western Maryland College, then taught Physical Education at Thurmont, Walkersville, and Duvall High Schools. Following the arrival of her daughter she became a full time homemaker. Mrs. Stull was a lifetime member of Glade United Church of Christ where she was a 60+ year member of the choir. Shirley was an avid golfer and a 40 year member of the Waynesboro, PA Country Club. She was also a very dedicated supporter of the Maryland Terrapins, and was a member of the University of Maryland Terrapin Club almost 30 years. She enjoyed traveling to Terps games throughout the US and Europe. She also enjoyed knitting, but most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Jessica Bailey and husband Richard of Middletown, a grandson Robert Bailey, her brothers F. Ridgley Cramer and Richard Cramer and wife Eileen both of Walkersville and a sister Josephine Gilbert of Frederick. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at Glade United Church of Christ, 21 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville on Friday March 22 at 11:00 am followed by time for remembrances and a light lunch at the church. In leiu of flowers donations can be made to Glade United Church of Christ, Walkersville, MD in her memory. Interment at Glade Cemetery will be private with family at a later time.
