About Chad Paul Garbetti, 19, of Lakeville died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on April 29.

He was the son of Charles P. and Diane I. (Tremblay) Garbetti of Lakeville.

He died at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He was born in New Bedford and lived in Lakeville all his life. He was a communicant of Sts. Martha and Mary Church.

He was a mechanic, and enjoyed playing football and baseball. He devoted lots of time in the community service project of the Lakeville Haunted House.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Nathan P. Garbetti of Lakeville; his maternal grandparents, William and Jeannette (Giasson) Tremblay of Fairhaven; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was the grandson of the late Joseph and Regina (Demers) Garbetti.

The funeral Mass will be at at 10 a.m. Friday at Sts. Martha and Mary Church, Bedford Street, Lakeville.

Arrangements are by the Rock Funeral Home, at 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Daniel P. Pimental, 68, formerly of Fairhaven and New Bedford, Mass., died Thursday, May 14, 1998, after a long illness. He was the husband of Doris (Lake) Pimental and son of the late Frank and Maria Pimental.

He was born in New Bedford and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Fairhaven.

Survivors include his widow; two sisters, Norma Costa of Fairhaven and Natalie Oliveira of New Bedford; two stepdaughters, Sheryl Dawson and Joanne Nickerboca; a stepson, Joseph Stozak; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late William Pimental, Mary Rezendes, Rose Amaral and Sophie SouzaArrangments are by the Sylvan Alby Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Road.
