| About | My best friend from the age of 3, Steve Goretti, passed away at the age of 34 on 9/27/2001 from cancer. Steve had a brilliant, happy, successful, but much too short life, sadly. Go, as many of us called him at AHS, was a 1989 graduate of Tufts University and became successful computer programmer working for Wang Labs, Cambridge Technology Partners, Fidelity Investments, and Monster.com. He was an accomplished runner, having completed many marathons, including the Boston Marathon in UNDER 3 hours ! Steve left his wife Christine Emprimo Goretti and a son, Michael who was only 16 months when Steve passed. Michael is now 11 years old, a spitting image of his Dad at the same age all the way down to the floppy, curly blonde hair and big smile, and a great student and athlete. Steve touched so many people's hearts and will forever be remembered as a great friend, son, husband, father, student, and co-worker. He's in my head and heart on a daily basis and rarely does a day go by when I don't think of doing things with him and smiling broadly ! :) Your friend forever, Brian Legg (Legga) |
