Obituary

Charles T. Fuller, 92, of Cataumet died April 14, 2015. He was born in Pocasset, MA, and was the son of the late Maurice L. and Lillian G. Fuller. He graduated from Bourne High School. He was the beloved husband for 60 years to Elizabeth L. Fuller and was employed at the Bourne Water District. He was responsible for building the golden spigot on the Water District office in Pocasset and took great pride in having no additives in the water.

He was a WWII veteran having served in the US Army Air Corps as an Airplane Mechanic in New Guinea and later served stateside as a member of the US Air Force.

Charlie was an avid gardener and very community minded. He was a Cub Scout Pack Leader, was instrumental in starting the Pocasset Junior Grange, was a Granger himself for 50 years serving as Master at the Subordinate and Pomona levels, and he served on the State Grange Youth Committee. He was also a member of DeWitt Clinton Masonic Lodge serving as Master and also as Right Worshipful Deputy for the Grand Lodge.

He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, brothers; Donald, Maurice, and Allen, a daughter Beth Casanova and one great grandson Jeffrey Johnson.

A Memorial Service was held Wednesday, April 22 11:00 AM at the Cataumet United Methodist Church followed by internment in the Cataumet Cemetery and a lunch in the church hall.
