Mr. Crosby grew up in Somerville and Bourne, MA. He graduated from Bourne High School in 1957 and received a master's degree in education from Fitchburg State College in 1978. Mr. Crosby worked as the head chef at the Bourne Mill restaurant for many years, and then taught Culinary Arts at the Upper Cape Regional Technical High School before a stroke left him permanently disabled in 1981. Mr. Crosby, a devoted Catholic, enjoyed golf, politics and was an avid reader. Ho loved his dogs and the Red Sox. The family received friends at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd in Bourne, Wednesday, September 9. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday, September 10 at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in Pocasset. Interment was at St. Peter's Cemetery in Sandwich.
