| About | Ocala Star-Banner Dorothy R. (Hurley) Cross, age 92, died on August 7, 2012 at the Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, FL. She was the devoted wife of Donald C. Cross. Born in Boston, MA on March 21, 1920, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Nagle) Hurley. She was educated in the Town of Bourne and was a graduate of Bourne High School. For several years Mrs. Cross worked in earlier years for the Ellis curtain Factory in North Plymouth, as well as worked as a clerk for the Cooper's Drug Store in Plymouth. She later stayed home raising her daughter Patricia. Memorial services were omitted at the request of the family. Cremation took place in Lecanto, FL. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice.
