About | Edward Charles Watt, 71, of The Villages, Florida was born March 18, 1942 in New Bedford, Massachusetts and died April 29, 2013 in The Villages. He was a Training Specialist for the Department of the U.S. Army for 30 years, retiring in 1998. Prior to that, he served in the US Army for 2 years during the Vietnam War. He moved to The Villages in 1998 from Woodbridge, Virginia. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, card games and spending time with his family and friends. A Funeral Service for Mr. Watt was held on Friday May 10, 2013 at 11 AM in the chapel of Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, Florida with a visitation held 1 hour prior to the funeral from 10-11 AM. A committal service including Military Honors was conducted at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 1 PM, with interment following.
