"Nan" (Fernandes) Correia, 83, of West Wareham, died April 19, 2010 in the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. She was the widow of the late Manuel "Daddy" Correia and the daughter of the late Peter and Virginia (Roderick) Fernandes. She was the partner of the late Antone "Tony" Dias. She was born in Bourne and lived in Wareham for most of her life. Mrs. Correia graduated from Bourne High School. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Dudley L. Brown Post 2846 in Onset. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She was the mother of the late Darrell P. Correia and the sister of the late Peter Fernandes, Jr., Manny Fernandes and Marie Rose. Her funeral was held from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte. 28), Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial followed in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham.
