| About | Cape Cod Times March 10, 2009 Emily Robin Flanders, 17: Bourne BHS senior, passionate fundraiser ??Emily Robin Flanders, 17, of Bourne died March 8, at Children's Hospital in Boston after a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. She was the daughter of Cynthia (Russell) Flanders of Bourne and Stephen J. Flanders of Buzzards Bay She was born in Boston and was currently a senior at Bourne High School class of 2009. She worked part-time at the American Lobster Mart in Bourne and as a hostess at The Courtyard in Cataumet. She was a passionate fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She also was an avid Red Sox fan; she loved the beach and traveling, especially cruising, and spending time with her family and many, many good friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Jennifer Marie Flanders, in 2006. Visiting hours were held at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28), Wareham. A funeral service was held at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 100 Rogers Ave., Wareham. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, c/o "Jemmies Jammers," 220 N.
