| About | Published in The Virginian Pilot on May 12, 2013 Obituary Virginia Beach John Eugene Bosnengo, 76, passed away on May 4, 2013. Mr. Bosnengo was born on September 29, 1936 in New Bedford, MA. He was preceded in death by a son David Bullock and grandson Gary Beaver. Mr. Bosnengo retired as a Chief Master at Arms with the U.S. Navy after 25 years of service. He also retired from Civil Service as Naval Base Police Officer at Norfolk Naval Base and Little Creek Amphibious Base, and Utility Specialist at Little Creek Amphibious Base. He was a member of G.W.R.R.A., N.R.A., F.R.A., V.F.W., Fraternal Order of Police, USS Iwo Jima Association and the Yager Association. He attended Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel. A celebration of Mr. Bosnengo's life was held on Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. |
