| About | Kelly Jean Downing, 44, died suddenly on November 29, 2007 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Born July 4, 1963 in Wareham, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Betty Jean (Meyer) Downing. She was a graduate of Bourne High School, Class of 1981. Kelly enjoyed watching the New England Patriots or any football team. She also loved watching Gunsmoke, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with friends and family and being with her daughter, "the love of her life." A Visitation was held in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Theresa's Catholic Chapel, Sandwich Road (Route 6A) in Sagamore. Burial followed in the St. Peter's Cemetery in Sandwich. |
