About | Cape Cod Times March 3, 1999 Maurice Leonard Fuller Jr., 72 Retired Banker, Liked Golf, WWII Army Veteran MONUMENT BEACH - Maurice Leonard Fuller Jr., 72, died Wednesday at Falmouth Hospital. He was the husband of Sylvia Ann Fuller. Born in Middleboro, Mr. Fuller was educated in Bourne schools. He served in the Army during World War II in the Philippines and received the Asiatic-Pacific Theater service ribbon and the World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Fuller worked at Cape Cod Bank and Trust Co., formerly Buzzards Bay National Bank, retiring after 38 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked for the Pocasset Golf Club as a maintenance worker. He was also treasurer of the Bourne Fire Rescue Squad for many years. He enjoyed golf and carpentry work. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Burial was private.
