Soares, 59 SANDWICH — Raymond Francis Soares, 59, a purchasing agent for many years and Cape resident for the past five years, died Tuesday at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. Born in Wareham, Mr. Soares was educated in Bourne schools and graduated from Bourne High School. He also served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. A purchasing agent for many years in the Boston area, he last worked for Mu-Pac, Carlo Gavazzi, as a purchasing agent in Taunton for five years. He was a resident of Sandwich for the past five years and previously lived in Quincy in the Boston area for many years. Mr. Soares built sun dials and perpetual calendars as a hobby. He was a member of the American Legion Post 188 in Sandwich and the Elks Lodge in Wareham. A graveside service was held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne |
