About | In Memory of Robert Allan Hammond October 28, 1950 - December 14, 2015 Obituary Robert A. Hammond of Pocasset gently passed away at the Bourne Manor. He was born in Tobey Hospital in Wareham on October 28, 1950 to George and Patricia Hammond of Pocasset, now deceased. He graduated from Bourne High School in 1968. With the exception of a few years at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and in the U.S. Army, he was a lifelong resident of Pocasset. Bob worked for Bank of America at 100 Fed as a Senior IT Technician for the Executive Support group. Previously he worked for O.R.E in Falmouth and KAO Info Systems in Plymouth. He was a fan of all Boston sports, especially the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed reading, camping and get-togethers with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Jerome Lipper Myeloma Center in memory of Robert A. Hammond to support Multiple Myeloma research. Burial followed at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. |
