| About | Falmouth Enterprise, Friday, January 29, 1960, Page 7 Robert Emmett Wallace Sr. Dies of Pneumonia Robert Emmett Wallace Sr., born August 31, 1899, of Puritan Road, Buzzards Bay died Wednesday morning at Glenside Hospital in Jamaica Plain. He had been ill about two weeks, and entered the hospital on Saturday. Mr. Wallace was son of Thomas Wallace of Buzzards Bay and the late Mrs. Wallace. He was a graduate of Bourne High School and of Bryant and Stratton School in Boston and studied two years at Boston University majoring in Business Administration. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Linehan Wallace; one son, First Lieutenant Robert Emmett Wallace Jr., stationed in Savannah, Ga. in the Air Force; two daughters, Mrs. Richard B. Layton of Sagamore Beach and Mrs. Robert T. Smith of Sagamore; his father, Thomas Wallace, and a sister Mrs. Katherine Wallace Burgess of Buzzards Bay. His funeral was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Onset. Burial was in the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery, Sandwich. |
