| About | Cape Cod Times June 26, 2002 BUZZARDS BAY - Ronald Ernest Haskell, 61, a resident of Buzzards Bay, died Monday at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. Born in Dorchester, Mr. Haskell was raised in Bourne where he also attended school. He graduated from Bourne High School in 1959. After graduation, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service, then was a millwright with Local 1121 out of Boston. He worked for the town of Bourne Tree Department and was recently a commercial fisherman and shell fisherman. He was a lifelong resident of Bourne. An avid archaeologist, he was a member of the Bourne United Methodist Church. He was the father of the late Richard Haskell. A Memorial Service was held in the Bourne United Methodist Church.. Burial was in Oakland Grove Cemetery, Shore Road, Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, 295 Devonshire St., 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02110. |
