Thomas Bion Landers, Jr., the son of Doris (Wing) Landers of Pocasset, died suddenly Wednesday, April 21 at his West Falmouth home. He was 52.

He was the husband of Nancy (Heald) Landers. His first wife, Eugenia (Porter) Landers died in 1978.

Mr. Landers was born in Wareham. He grew up in Bourne and was a 1958 graduate of Bourne High School. After graduation he served in the Army at the Sacramento Signal Depot in California until 1962.

He moved to Falmouth in the 1960s. He worked at the Falmouth National Bank for 22 years. He owned Century 21 Thomas B. Landers Realty from 1985 until last June when he began working for the Jacoby C.W. Agency.

Mr. Landers was a former town meeting member and board member for Precinct 5. He was a former treasurer of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, served on the North Falmouth Bicentennial Committee and helped put together "Falmouth By the Sea".

He was an avid golfer and a member of the Woods Hole Golf Club and the Ironwood County Club in Palm Desert, California. He was a former Cape Cod Schoolboy Golf Champion and competed in the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament for three years.

He was the brother of the late Stuart F. Landers.

A funeral was held at the First Congregational Church in Falmouth with burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
