Bonnie T. Aitchison, 68, of Springfield passed away January 5, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. The daughter of the late William and Therese (Opitz) Hervieux, was born in Springfield. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her biological father, William Aitchison. A graduate of the High School of Commerce, she earned her Associates degree from Holyoke Community College, her Bachelor’s degree from North Adams College and her Master’s degree from Bay Path University. Bonnie had a variety of careers throughout her life, the last with MassMutual where she retired after over 10 years. She enjoyed gardening and crafting and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Parish in East Longmeadow. Bonnie will be missed by all who knew her including, her siblings, William (wife Mary Lou), Timothy, and Beth (husband Thomas); her maternal aunt, Helena; her seven nephews & two nieces: her Bay Path friends; her cats, Irish and Lady Jane; and many cousins, extended family members, and friends. |
