About | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Francis A. "Frank" Carelli Francis A. "Frank" Carelli, 65, of 125 Mendon Rd. died Sun. June 7 after an illness. He is survived by his lifetime companion Donna M. Mattingly with whom he lived; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Born in Worcester on Sept. 23, 1943 he was the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Piette) Carelli and lived in Northbridge since 1971. Previously he lived in Grafton. Mr. Carelli was an Industrial Arts Teacher at Grafton High School for 15 years. He then owned and operated The Grill in Northbridge over 20 years. He earned his Bachelor's Degree as well as his Masters Degree in Education from Fitchburg State College. Always social, he enjoyed being with his friends, camping, traveling, and motorcycle riding. He enjoyed being around boats and water and owned his own boat when he was younger. His funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held Sat. June 13 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 1 Cross St. Whitinsville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
