Throughout most of her life she struggled with mental illness and alcoholism. She fought back hard. In the latter years of her life Martha did quite well. She had two sisters: Sheila Hatch and Ann Ryan. Martha had three children and one grandson. She passed away of heart disease and a pulmonary embolism. Martha was one of the strongest people I knew. She had planned on becoming an advocate for the mentally. ill Martha was 59 at the time of her death. |
